Now that I no longer use Facebook, I had to rely on Sarah Bee to alert me to the latest - how you say - meme to be rocking planet Zuckerberg.

They’re called Flimericks and, as the name suggests, they involve boiling down classic films into limerick form.

Of course, I’m currently hopelessly devoted to haiku, but I couldn’t resist spending a few minutes rattling off the following, especially as Rebecca at Orion just had the gall to suggest that my lying in a hammock drinking beer at 6pm on a Tuesday meant that I wasn’t working hard enough.

So, here we go. Name those films - and then contribute yours at the official Facebook group, here

There was a young man called Kal-El
Who from outer space secretly fell
Found out what he could do
Got cape, wore cape, flew
Before crash landing in shit spin-off hell

A daft flying elephant’s born
Wakes up pissed, in a tree, quite forlorn
Gets help from jive-talking crows
Because as everyone knows
Racism’s totally fine when it’s drawn

Polanski remakes Dickens back-list
And ends up making a pretty good fist
Earning millions of quids
For his work with young kids
How’s that for an Oliver twist?
